This weekend, the 2012 NAIAS Detroit Auto Show held at the COBO Center in Detroit, MI came to a close. Over 770,000 people attended the show this year, the highest total since 2005.

To say that we have been patiently waiting for the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL550 at Autohaus on Edens is a major understatement, since the last SL was introduced over 11 years ago! But from what we see, the wait was worth it.

Taking seven years to develop, the all-new SL550 roadster is sleeker and lighter than ever, thanks to its 90% aluminum body. This however does not come at the expense of safety; in fact, it is safer than its predecessors.
