The “Baby Benz” of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is all grown up and flexing its muscle. With features such as its intimidating shark vents and a bulging hood, not to mention that huge Mercedes star on the grille, it is certain to be a head turner in and around Chicago. Mercedes M-Class diesel fans however may have the last laugh.
Before we start raving about the 2010 C63 AMG, a note about fuel economy; it basically does not exist on this car. This model has one of the lowest fuel economy ratings for a compact car, giving drivers only 12 mpg city and 19 mpg highway. I guess that is the price you have to pay for being able to go from 0 to 60 mph in about 4 seconds down streets in Chicago. Finally after months of pictures that have given us very little information about what the 2011 Mercedes CLS will look like, new shots have emerged that give us the CLS’s actual styling traits. In Chicago, used Mercedes-Benz dealers were excited to find out that the overall shape of the four door coupe remains similar to previously sold in Chicago, Mercedes C Class cars. The most noticiable similarity to the previous model of the CLS is the same sloping roof line and the banana-shaped body.

After recent testing in Germany, the 2011 Mercedes CL-Class looks like it has gotten a new makeover from the previous model seen at dealers. While around Chicago, C-Class Wagon models are probably as popular as the CL-Class, there should be a large number of Mercedes owners and shoppers chomping at the bit for the new-look CL-Class. The fourth generation CL-Class is said to be a big two-door coupe, with new features that include, a new headlamp, new bonnet and bumper designs, a more pointed and tapering front grille that features two horizontal bars instead of three. Also, added were mandatory LED daytime running lights.
